A piece that started out as a simple pairing of sight to sound evolved into a symbiotic cooperation due to an error. The music, which was intended to be about 90 seconds long, involves machine learning that is expressed through midi control. It was accidentally left on while being exported resulting in the music element being over twice as long as intended. Steve, who created all visual components, constructed the video around what was sent to him, including 3 minutes of accidental drone. Once the mistake was realized, they chose to adapt the music to suit the multiple minutes of footage. This was the result.
